LAKE NONA — Nona FC returns home Tuesday, June 23, for the third Orlando Derby of the 2026 season as Brooke House FC visits Austin-Tindall Sports Complex.
The Longhorns enter the matchup following one of their strongest performances of the season, a 3-0 victory over Sporting Jax in Jacksonville. After a scoreless first half, K.K. Baffour opened the scoring with a stunning free kick before Xavier Rimpel and Nona Soccer Academy product Pedro Kruschewsky each found the back of the net to secure Nona FC's first-ever victory over Sporting Jax while holding the Jacksonville side scoreless.
With the win, Nona FC improved to 13 points through eight matches and remains firmly in the Southeast Division title race. Tuesday's matchup carries significant implications in the standings, as Nona FC, Brave SC, and Brooke House FC all enter the week level on 13 points. The Longhorns have reached that mark in eight matches, while Brave SC has played seven and Brooke House FC nine. With the standings separated by the narrowest of margins, Nona FC will look to build on its recent momentum and secure three crucial points against a direct rival.
Tuesday's contest marks the third meeting between Nona FC and Brooke House FC this season. The first matchup came in the USL League Two season opener on May 16, when forward Fabio Bozesan scored on his club debut before Brooke House FC found a late equalizer to secure a 1-1 draw in Winter Park. The second meeting followed on June 10 in Lake Nona, with the two sides playing to a scoreless draw despite Nona FC generating 21 shots.
The Longhorns have enjoyed success in the Orlando Derby throughout the rivalry's history, posting a 4-0-3 all-time record against Brooke House FC. Nona FC is also unbeaten at Austin-Tindall Sports Complex against Brooke House FC, holding a 2-0-1 home record in the series.
Tuesday night will also serve as Retro Night for Nona FC, as the club celebrates 10 years of Nona Soccer Academy. The evening will honor a decade of player development, community impact, and the continued connection between the academy and the club's USL League Two side.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Lake Nona. The match will be streamed on sportsengineplay.com.
