Nona FC Falls to Brave SC in Rodeo Derby

THE VILLAGES, Fla. — Nona FC (2-1-4, 10 points) suffered its first defeat of the 2026 USL League Two season Sunday night, falling 2-1 to Brave SC (3-0-3, 12 points) at The Range at H.G. Morse Stadium in the 10th edition of the Rodeo Derby.
With significant implications in the Southeast Division standings, Brave SC moved into first place with the victory, while Nona FC dropped to second.
The hosts struck first in the 15th minute when Caue Ramos finished the rebound of his own effort following a cross into the box to give Brave SC an early advantage.
Nona FC responded in the 36th minute through defender Tim Brdaric, who headed home a Basit Umar cross to level the match at 1-1. The goal marked Brdaric's first for the Black and Orange.
Brave SC regained the lead in the 56th minute when Ramos found the back of the net for the second time on the night. The strike proved to be the match-winner as the hosts secured all three points in a pivotal Southeast Division matchup.
