Nona FC Travel to Brevard SC for Penultimate Road Clash

LAKE NONA – The Nona FC Longhorns will look to get back to winning ways and maintain their perfect record against Brevard SC when they travel to Kelly Stadium on July 8 at 7 p.m. to take on the Fire for the third time this season.

The Black and Orange (5-4-0, Southeast Division) sit in third place in the Southeast Division standings as they make the trip to Brevard, following a 12-day break caused by the postponement of Nona’s match against Gainesville KF on June 25. Nona will look to take home an away victory this season for the first time since June 21 at Brooke House FC.

Brevard SC (2-8-1, Southeast Division) enter the late-season matchup in sixth place in the Southeast Division standings after back-to-back defeats to Brave SC, losing 5-0 and 6-3 respectively. In their last match, the Fire scored three goals in a game for only the second time this season, after handling eventual 2025 Southeast Division champions Sporting Club JAX 3-0 at home on May 19.

Tuesday’s opposition has scored the third-most goals in the Southeast Division this season, with the spoils shared amongst the team. Johan Magaña leads the team with three goals, while Daiki Okada and Stev Thallinger have each added two, contributing to the Fire’s total of 12 goals.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. BREVARD SC

Nona FC have a perfect 8-0-0 all-time record against Brevard SC and will look to keep the streak flawless on Tuesday. A victory in the upcoming match will mark only the fifth time that a Nona FC team has beaten the same opponent three times in a season. Brevard SC in 2023, Gainesville KF in 2024,  Brevard SC in 2024, and Brooke House FC in 2025 are the other four teams that Nona has beaten thrice in one campaign.
